SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

Heartbeats

Northside Nazarene supports the local chapter of Heartbeats in many ways, including volunteering and filling baby bottles with change.

heartbeatsAt Heartbeats we offer emotional, physical and spiritual support to those who find themselves in the midst of an unexpected pregnancy. Believing that Christ is the foundation of this center, we endeavor to model Him in every aspect. Obeying Christ’s command to love, we desire to be His hands and feet and provide the best possible services. We are committed to the sanctity of human life and believe God loves equally the women and men who come to us.

We serve all with free and confidential services and do not discriminate but serve anyone that walks through our doors with excellence. Our incentive-based pregnancy, parenting and life skills program “ Earn While You Learn” provides great avenues for whole health growth – personal, relational, parental, familial, social and spiritual. We also provide programs for post-abortion healing and sexual integrity.

All services are free and confidential.

Appointments appreciated . . . walk-ins welcome.

Out Of Darkness

Jami Gray, Brandy Zachariah and Tiffany Tripp came together with various levels of experience in the anti-human trafficking world in early 2015 to explore what role they would play in this fight in Columbus, OH.

After months of meeting with various anti-trafficking organizations throughout Central Ohio to find out what was already in place and what was missing, there was a common theme that the state was in desperate need for housing, specifically a safe home for adult victims of human trafficking.

During a trip to Atlanta , GA to learn from some of the strongest aftercare programs in the country, they met with Out of Darkness, the anti-trafficking ministry of Frontline Response, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. A bond was created and in the summer of 2015 Jami, Brandy and Tiffany started the first out of state chapter of Out of Darkness.
